We find this wine is popular with those who would not normally drink red wine.
Serve chilled with pizza, pasta or barbecued fare.
Hillside White Moscato Style
A fruity, sweet white with floral bouquet and passionfruit flavour. An easy drinking style, serve with cheese, chicken or seafood. Alcohol content around 10%.
Designed for those with a sweet palette. If you like moscato style wines you will love this one.
2016 Verdelho (medium sweet)
This wine was crafted to compliment spicy food such as Thai or Indian curries or alternatively to appeal to those with a mild sweet palette.
The small amount of residual sweetness boosts the natural fruit salad character of the verdelho grape.
2015 Shiraz
A soft medium bodied red with cherry and a hint of tobacco on the nose. The colour is rich and dark and the cherry nose is reflected in the palette. the tannins are moderate and soft giving a nice comfortable wine to drink with a wide variety of foods.
The wine was matured in Rhone style oak and this together with the medium body and soft tannins gives it a Rhone character. Will benefit from cellaring for another year or two.
