Crane Apple Cider Vinagrette

Our own home made recipe which uses  apple cider vinegar and various herbs and spices to make the most delicious salad dressing, in a reuseable swing top jar.

Crane Date & Pawpaw Chutney

Once again a popular product from our antipasto platters. This lovely chutney goes well with mature cheese and salami and pickles. Hand made by Judy to our own recipe.

Crane Peanut Dukkah

In keeping with being situated in the middle of peanut country we have tinkered with a dukkah recipe to regionalise it by adding roasted peanuts. The careful blend of nuts, seeds and spices makes this a lovley addition to an antipasto platter. Excellent accompaniment to cheese, salami, olive oil, and out caramelised vinegars.

Crane Red Wine Jelly

Our very own recipe for Red Wine Jelly. We serve this on our antipasto platters and it goes exquisitely well with triple cream Brie.

Soy Chilli Balsamic Vinegar

Just yummm.. Sweet and yet piqaunt at the same time.Our favourite way of using this one is as a marinade for salmon steaks (or flattened chicken breast fillets) for an hour or so, and then pour the marinade over the meat while cooking. ( Tip: Use baking paper in your pan or barbecue plate to avoid burning).

Also marvellous drizzled over tomato halves on the BBQ or mixed with noodles and sauteed vegetables and meat of your choosing for a quick tasty lunch time snack.

The chilli is quite mild so don’t worry if you are not a chilliphile, and chilliphiles you can always add more chilli.

Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar

Sweet, tangy and simply delicious. Use as a deglaze for steak, add to boiled potatoes with melted butter, or dip strawberries in it then into icing sugar.

The sharpest strongest tasting of our collection of caramalised vinegars.
